We strive to amplify Micronesian voices through education, policy advocacy, legal strategy, and ethical research.

Micronesia is a geostrategically vital region for the United States, littered with U.S. territories, military bases, and strategic outposts. But very view Americans know much about the islands and peoples that comprise Micronesia. Nor are most Americans aware of the host of environmental and social injustices in the region stemming from U.S. imperialism, including limited constitutional protection, military occupation, nuclear testing, and climate injustice. Behind the curtain of U.S. empire, Micronesians are fighting for their rights and their sovereignty. AMP seeks to support these efforts by providing public education, policy advocacy, and most importantly, a platform to amplify Micronesian voices.
